Yesterday Jean-the-Cat was trying hard to tell us something but we always shooed him away because he was getting too close to Maksim.
Last night he plopped himself in the middle of the living room where Maksim's blanket was laid out and wouldn't leave. When he finally did, there was a pool of blood that soaked where he was. I was a wreck - the guilt of ignoring him all day was unbearable. He is after all - our first baby.
Dre took him to the vet first thing this morning and it turns out that he has UTI from not drinking enough water. We immediately purchased a drinking fountain (per veterinarian), from Amazon.com, to encourage drinking. Cat also has to take oral meds every 12 hours. Poor thing. We love him so much.
