Pet Day At School

Some of the pets the kids made.

Last Friday was Pet Day at school. Kids were to create their pet of choice using recycled materials to introduce to the parents for the showing. Everyone and their pets were adorable.

Maksim made a sock dog and named him Sox. We took two unpaired socks, sewed, and stuffed. This little project allowed me to whip out my sewing machine once more.

The whole class about to sing a song.

I uploaded this straight from my DSLR. Nothing fancy but the kids did great.

Maksim presenting.

"My name is Maksim and this is my pet, Sox the dog."

- Maksim, 6 years old -

All the children received awards.

Based on Maksim's story of a giant, beanstalk, and Sox,

his pet received the, "Most Energetic" ribbon.

Maksim was so happy that his dad got to come to his event at school.
