Happy Valentine's Day from our family to yours! It's amazing what you can do with natural lighting and a bare wall for a photo shoot. Nothing fancy. Plain and simple. Dressed up the kids, grabbed a couple of Valentine's bear from holidays past, and you got yourself a makeshift photo studio.
Maksim and Vala's pictures turned out better than expected. The whole photo shoot was a big ball of stress trying to get the kids to settle down, look at the camera, and smile. My assistants, my mother and brother, helped tremendously. Unfortunately, the husband has photography burn-out and wants nothing to do with taking photos unless it's absolutely necessary for work. Doesn't matter because he passed on his knowledge to me so our kids get decent photos.
About our kids, wow, where to start? Again, these two have a connection and a language of their own. They understand each other and laugh and play and laugh and play. Call me crazy, but I can not wait until their first fight. Imagine how that will be like? lol. All in good time. For now, I'm content they get along. However, I already know that one day they will join forces and gang up on me. HA! Gotta love them. They are wonderful.
