100 Days of School - Kindergarten

100 Days of School... already! I can't believe it. The kids can either make their own 100 days t-shirt or dress up in costume as a centenarian. We choose the t-shirt. Maksim scrolled through Pinterest for ideas. He saw this Mario Brother's shirt which was basically Mario stickers with glued on 100 yellow coins. Was not a fan of the look but we improvised.

What you'll need:

• White t-shirt
• T-shirt form
• Printer
• Scotch Tape
• Black 3D Paint
• Fabric Markers
• Microsoft Word
• Glue Stick

1. Download and install the Mario Bros font
2. Open a blank word document and type in your child's name followed by 100 Days of School. Choose font size and then print. Cut, center, and then tape to the top of the t-shirt form.
3. Google "Mario Bros coloring pages" and choose the picture you want - we chose this. Copy paste the picture in word and stretch it out till the picture fills the whole page. Print.
4. Found the coins via google search. Copy pasted it to a blank word document. Resize it to your liking and copy paste that size to the whole sheet of paper. I printed off two pages and glued them side by side.
5. Cut out the Mario Bros scene and glue it on top of the coins.
6. Count off 100 coins and cut the rest. Tape it to the t-shirt form.
7. Put the t-shirt over and trace the picture with the 3D Paint.
8. Let it dry for 3-4 hours and then color with fabric markers.

It's not perfect but it worked. It's kind of hilarious how uneven the coins are. Maksim was uberly excited to color everything in. He was beyond thrilled to wear it to school this morning.
