Annual Trike-A-Thon

What I love about my son's school is the volunteer hours mandatory for parents. It's wonderful that parents get to be hands on with the kids' activities at school. 

The kids had a Trike-A-Thon at school to raise money for the children at St. Jude's hospital. Kids were allowed to bring their bikes to school and bike around the parking lot for a good 1.5 hours, while the parents and the teachers made sure everyone was safe. The kids were taught safety with wearing protective gear, helmets and etc. The energy was high and it's worth seeing the joy in their faces. Of course, our son was the last one biking the driveway. I'm not shocked. lol.

The 2-6 year olds had a Trike-A-Thon this morning for a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Hospital. The older kids helped the youngens if they got stuck. It was a lot of fun. :) Loved being around so much energy and meeting other parents. Maksim was the last kid off the track. Figures.
